He bought her a bonsai
And watered it every day,
He caressed her every minute of their awaken moments.
They travelled together until
They forgot who they were
when they were babies or infants or toddlers.
They were living their lives without asking too much of themselves, about themselves.
In time,
Their enthusiasm for each other faded.
The bonsai also.
They felt half joy, half people,
they thought they didn’t love each other anymore.
Their forgotten parts were lying inside themselves
Like water monsters with eyes closed
that waited and waited and waited
years in a row
until that moment
when hungrily and suddenly opened
in solitude.
the long forgotten beauty
the rotten, dreadful story
of the past
came to life
so vivant, so trembling.
memories without words
raw emotions leaving their shells
all escaped and visited at once
shaking souls like earthquakes.
they stared at each other and smiled and fearfully hugged
so strongly hugged they,
a rib almost broke.
first cracking noise
and life began to move again,
a nasty pony with a too long tail.
